How did you meet?
We were introduced through his sister, Crystal, who is a lifelong friend of Gabbie's.

Who made the first move?
Gabbie, duh.

What first attracted you to each other?
Gabbie's Response:  Those captivating blue eyes. Now our kids have them and I get to look at 3 sets of them all day, everyday. :)
Casey's Response: Her confidence, she had a great vibe that was very fun, energetic, and playful. She had a goofy sense of humor with a loud (almost obnoxious at times) laugh that really drew me in.

What is your favorite memory with each other?
Gabbie's Response: The Skydiving Incident hahahah
Casey's Response: Our first vacation to San Diego together.

What is your favorite way of spending time together?
Gabbie's Response: Going on family walks or taking the kids somewhere new and fun.
Casey's Response: Sitting on the front porch after the kids go to bed and chit chatting.

How did you get engaged?
Casey contacted Gabbie's Aunt Carrie to hatch their master plan. (If I can post the video I will! It's on my facebook if not)
Backstory: we have a running joke that because I'm the only Uphoff in the house we are The Cronins + Gabbie. It's our wifi name.
Backstory 2: My Aunt makes custom doormats, and told me she would gift me one when we moved in- I just never told her what I wanted.
So my Aunt and Nana were coming to town and brought the doormats with them as a housewarming gift.  My mom and youngest sister, Brianna were over for dinner one day of their visit and my Aunt had told me I could open the boxes now.
I was so confused as to why Brianna was recording me opening up doormats, but who am I to question it?
The first doormat was a quote from Moana "There comes a day
When you're gonna look around
And realize happiness is where you are"  It was so cute, I almost cried at that one.
The next doormat was a beautiful Irish knot with "The Cronins" on it. I didn't want to make the joke " You forgot '+ Gabbie'" but Casey read my mind and made the joke for me.
He said "One day right, Funny thing about One Day is maybe that day is today?!" and I turned around and there he was on a knee in our kitchen with my family surrounding us.

Why did you decide on a destination wedding?
Casey wanted this; and what my baby wants, my baby gets.
